Classic Beef Stroganoff Recipe

1 1/2 lbs of sirloin beef steak
7 ounces of mushrooms (2 to 2 1/2 cups)
2 medium sized onions (sliced)
1 clove of garlic (chopped)
1/4 cup of butter (option can you use butter)
1 1/2 cups of beef broth
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups of sour cream
3 cups of hot cooked egg noodles
Directions
1. Prepare by cutting the beef across the grain into a 1.5 inch by 0.5 inch strips
2. Cook the veggies in butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the onions are tender then remove from the skillet.
3. Cook the beef in the same skillet until it browns. Pour the 1 cup of beef broth, salt and Worcestershire sauce. The heat should be brought up to a boil then reduce heat. Cover the dish and simmer for about 15 minutes.
4. Pout in the remaining half cup of broth into the flour then stir the beef mixture. Add the onion mix then heat to a boil. Make sure you are stirring constantly. While boiling, stir for about a minute. Add the sour cream then heat until hot but do not boil.
5. Serve it over the noodles and enjoy!
