INGREDIENTS
2 lbs of ground beef
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of garlic powder
1/2 tsp of pepper
1 loaf of French bread
butter, softened
2 cups of sour cream (16 oz.)
2 tomatoes of seeded and diced (drained on paper towels)
1 large green pepper (diced) – take out the seeds
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese (12 oz.)

DIRECTIONS
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Then brown the ground beef with onion. Add salt, garlic powder and pepper. Cut the bread lengthwise in half; butter both sides and place on large baking sheet.

Remove the meat mixture from heat and stir in the sour cream. Spread it onto the bread then sprinkle it with fresh tomatoes and diced green pepper. Cook by Baking for 10 minutes then remove from the oven. Sprinkle cheese over the top and bake another 10 minutes until cheese is melted. If you want it crispier then you can bake the bread a little longer.
